Welcome to The Brothering

2–3 minutes

Welcome to The Brothering, your new hub for all things Magic: The Gathering (MTG) and more! Whether you’ve found us in our videos or are just meeting us now, we’re dedicated to exploring the rich, strategic, and ever-evolving world of MTG.

Who Are We?

We’re brothers!

I’m Sean (the older brother), and I’ve been slinging spells and summoning creatures since 1994. My love for the game began with me and my friends playing on breaks on the side of the pool. Now I enjoy it all: aggro, control, midrange, combo- but I especially appreciate the social/political aspects of commander.

Evan (the younger brother) started playing at 5-years-old, learning to read as he played. Often taking Lightning Bolts and Serra Angels to the face, he possesses a resilient love for the game. Now Evan cranks out value at the table- whether its a jank deck that actually works or a budget deck that that slaps a cEDH one down. He downloaded Arena and made ranked Mythic in one week without spending a dime- highlighting his eye for card efficiencies.
